Rough Magic Mollie and Prospero Joe

I'm Mollie, transplanted Texan working with my native Mainer husband -- creating our unique brand of Rough Magic.

I'm Joe, the Mainer mentioned above - selling vintage treasures, books, collectible ephemera and memorabilia.

Why Rough Magic? Why Prospero? Well, it's Shakespeare. At the end of "The Tempest," the marooned magician Prospero lays aside his rough magic. As Joe is descended from a voyager on the ill-fated ship that inspired the play, we believe a bit of Prospero's art has washed ashore on the beach outside our studio window.

Thank you for exploring our shop. You're always welcome at Rough Magic Creations & Prospero's Bookshelf! And we'd love to hear from you!
